This story follows a young boy and his bear friend who romp and rhyme through a world filled with berries of all kinds. The reader becomes "surrounded" with berries as they are counted at the beginning and later fill up a canoe, go over a dam to make a "waterfall," mix with animals at a country fair, fill up a farm, ride on a train, appear at a circus, and finally explode in the sky like a fireworks display.
